Where you choose to spend most of your time affects your well-being and happiness.
If you spend most of your time around people who cheer you up, support you, and push you to become the best version of yourself. You will be happier and wiser.
If you spend most of your time around negative people gossiping and judging others. You will live an unhealthy life.
But life doesn’t grant you the best people immediately; you have to be yourself and attract them.
But sometimes you are the negative person, which makes the problem harder. It’s easy to identify others’ mistakes and hard to identify yours.
People and situations are places too. There are places I advise you to never waste your time on.
It pulls your energy and changes your vibes. Choosing it is going with the vibes you don’t belong to.
7 Toxic Places to Never waste your Energy at
1. Don’t waste your energy on people who don’t support you
Stop trying to convince people to support you or support your dream. It’s your dream.
If every time you talk about your dreams and achievements, people look you down or think you are crazy! You have the answer to your doubt; move away from that circle.
They will make your life miserable by making you question yourself and your thoughts.
It’s important to have a circle that has the same goal as yours if you want to go far.
Luckily, we are in the 21st century. You can follow pages and accounts on social media that post motivational content that will push you toward your goals.
This is your real circle. If you can’t change your circle, change your circle.
2. Don’t waste your energy thinking about what others think about you
Thinking about people’s thoughts on you gets you nowhere. People’s opinions don’t pay your bills or make your dreams come true.
Never waste your energy thinking about what people think of you. The person they created in their head is not your responsibility.
Everyone will have an opinion about you; you will go crazy trying to please them all.
3. Don’t waste your energy on a one-sided relationship
If you are the only person who put in all the effort to make the relationship work, you need to rethink your decision.
I won’t advise you to cut off all people who don’t show effort in your life. It will be a false assumption because I don’t know the whole story.
I ask you to rethink if you are really in the right place.

4. Don’t waste your energy on people who need you temporary
I advise you to cut off these people from your life. They will act like they miss you and are your real friends, before asking for a favor.
When they get what they want, you won’t see them. Don’t waste your energy and thoughts on them. They don’t deserve it.
5. Don’t waste your energy solving problems that aren’t yours
It’s not your responsibility to solve problems in people’s lives. It’s their responsibility. Focus on yourself.
If they need help, help them. But never waste your time solving problems that aren’t yours.
I learned this lesson the hard way. You have a lot of problems in your life; focus on solving them.
6. Don’t waste your energy doing things to distract yourself
Most people distract themselves by doing unproductive things just to distract themselves from work.
They use distractions like scrolling through social media, talking, and thinking. The necessary thing you should do is take action.
Most people use unhealthy habits to distract themselves from product habits. Don’t be one of these people.
7. Don’t waste your energy impressing a person who isn’t interested in you
Never waste your time and energy making an uninterested person like you. Many people on this earth would appreciate your effort.
The more you try to impress them, the more you disrespect yourself and the more uninterested they become in you.
If you care about your future, stay where you are challenged to become better, loved, and appreciated.
